Great alone, and as the main ingredient in my herbal salves. Quick tip: graininess is normal in shea butter that has had temperature changes and does not effect the quality. I put my jar in the microwave for about 90 seconds, or however long it takes to completely liquefy, stir, then put in freezer for 30 minutes to cool it quickly. After searching all over for natural Shea butter, I discovered this product online quite by accident. This product is super moisturizing and creamy. It's very versatile as I can use it all over my body as well as on my hair. You can mix with other oils to your liking. It's wonderful! I generally have very dry skin and hair but this product does the moisture job for me. My goal is to use as few products as possible so when I find one that works for many things as this does, I'm very happy. Even more exciting is the price found here on Piping Rock. No where else have I found such a low price for such a quality product. Please keep in stock and keep prices low. My face breaks out with yellow shea butter, maybe because of the added Borotutu root. I tried this raw shea butter on my face and it works beautifully. doesn't clog my pores. Beautiful Quality Shea Butter
I use this as a body butter, as hand cream and foot cream. I also use it in my hair blended with Jamaican Castor Oil. Its certainly a very versatile natural unscented ointment which I enjoy using.
